Welcome to the 1st annual Southern Ohio Dance Festival (SODF), a 3 day dance intensive for dancers age 6 years through Adult. SODF takes place at the beautiful Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth, Ohio. Dance Festival participants will experience multiple dance genres and techniques from the beginner - advanced levels. Our professional faculty and intensive schedule will inspire and encourage creativity from all dancers.

The SODF prides itself on the professional faculty coming together to share their expertise and talent with the youth of East Central Appalachia. Dancers, studios and companies will have the opportunity to perform dance works during the professionally produced dance concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Southern Ohio Dance Festival will run in conjunction with the 3rd annual  BoneyFiddle Fringe Festival.

SOD Festival Tuition

Dancer Tuition : $75.00

Tuition fee includes access to color level and master classes, performance fee, admission to SODF concerts, and admission to all BoneyFiddle Fringe Festival events. All dancers participating in classes or performances must pay the tuition fee.

Director Access Badge: $15.00

Chaperone/Parent Access Badge: $25.00 per person

Access badges allow directors, parents, and chaperones to sit in on student classes, participate in adult and open classes, and take advantage of BoneyFiddle Fringe Festival events on campus. The Access badge also acts as your tickets to SODF concerts.

 

Single Evening SODF Dance Concert Tickets: $12.00

Dancers attending the festival get in free.
